Following a recess of five weeks over the festive season, Grafton Senior Citizens will resume most activities during the week commencing January 20, with carpet bowls resuming Wednesday January 22; craft, Thursday January 23; Mah-jong and euchre on Friday January 24. Housie will resume on Tuesday February 4, and first meeting for new year will be Tuesday February 11, at 10.30am.
An open day, with a small craft display, for Seniors Week Festival, will be held on Thursday February 13, from 9am to12 noon, to enable prospective new members to visit and learn more about the group.
Our AGM will be held on March 10 at 10am, with a general meeting.
The first day trips for the year are to an open garden at Coorabell, and the Maritime Museum at Ballina on Friday February 28, and to Glen Innes and Emmaville Mining Museum on Friday March 27, and both have spare seats.
An eight day tour to St George, Charleville, Roma, Miles, Toowoomba from August 15, is virtually full, but reserves will be noted.
