Grafton Senior Citizens, October coach trip

Grafton Senior Citizens recently held their October coach trip, to Tropical Fruit World, near Murwillumbah, with 36 passengers. The day began with a drive on Summerland Way to Casino, then to Lismore, where a picnic morning tea was enjoyed in a local park. The group continued on to Tropical Fruit World. There was time there to browse gift shop & fruit market, before embarking on a Tractor Train safari ride through plantation. After a ride on miniature railway, then a river boat cruise, and a visit to an animal park, lunch was then enjoyed and finally we went to miracle fruit show and tasting. Sincere thanks to our coach captain, Tony, for a great day, all passengers for their support, committee, and all involved in arranging trip, and serving morning tea. Next trip, final for year, a day to Brooms Head for annual picnic, has been on sale a few weeks, and still has some spare seats. Cost $20. First trip for next year will be to Dorrigo, including historical museum, on Friday, 26 February, cost $40, with bookings just open. A 7 day extended tour to Port Stephens area in August 2016, will go on sale at November meeting. The annual Christmas luncheon, with entertainment, has also just gone on sale, cost $5.
