After a two week break over Grafton Racing Carnival, Grafton Senior Citizens are now back in full swing, and recently held a members barbecue, on a mild winter day, with 44 members in attendance.
The day began with morning tea of various biscuits, tea and coffee, followed by some games of Hoi, interesting facts, and trivia.
Barbecue sausages on bread, together with onion, coleslaw, potato salad, and boiled egg, followed by ice cream in a cone, was a most enjoyable lunch, and concluded a great day.
Sincere thanks to all who attended, the committee who prepared and served meals, and all involved in organising day.
Members reminded ‘housie’ is on Tuesdays August 6 & 13, and the next meeting is Tuesday August 13 at 10.30am. Other activities have already resumed on the week commencing July 15.
The next bus trip, a seven day tour to the Lake Macquarie area, from August 16 is in the final preparation stages, with final payments now due.
The next day bus trip to Yamba, then a boat cruise to Harwood and return, will go on sale at the August meeting.
