Grafton Seniors recently held their February meeting, with attendance of 66, apologies 6.
Guest speaker: Peter Rose, who has a master of Agricultural Science, and lives at Palmers Channel, spoke about sugar industry and Harwood Mill, built in 1874.
Sick: best wishes to Yvonne Chard, John Mitchell, Merv Cassie.
Deceased: sympathy to families of Dawn Binns, Iris Parker, Betty Rogan. Also, Karen Petterson, who lost her husband; Roma Watkins, her sister; Daphne Gossan, her brother; and Sandra Connelly, a cousin.
Former member, Len Jarrett, & Merv Cassie, are now in aged care.

Coach trips: Eungai Creek Buffalo Farm, Friday February 28, with 32 booked. For catering, we need to close off by February 19. Our 4-day tour to Inverell is on September 10-13, bookings have just opened, and seats still available.
General business: Our AGM is March 11. Forms are available to nominate for committee. There is a Senior Citizens Week function at the Library on Wednesday March 12. We will have a stall to promote our group and have a recruitment drive.
Scams: Both phone and Email are still common. Members reminded never press a link.
