Tuesday, August 2 conditions of play resulted in the most consecutive winning ends and the winners were S. Hillier, A. Perkins and N. Mawhirt with five ends, runner up went to M. Gough, D. Walsh and D. Lawson with four ends. Lucky loser went to T. Shorten, M. Elliott and A. Williams. The spider was won by Marie Gough and the competition by J. Thompson, D. Rapley, T. Shorten and N. Mawhirt It was nice to see Norma and Joyce drop in to say hello and catch up with us all. A reminder that District Presentation Day will be held at our Club this coming Thursday 11. The sheets are on the board for Championship triples which now close on August 9 with the first round to be played on August 18, also nomination sheet is up for the pairs.
