GRAFTON DISTRICT SERVICES CLUB WESTLAWN GOLF CLUB
Rain Rain Rain. There must be something about long weekends that just attracts the wet, a big weekend was planned with the Fairfield R S L boys but it just was not to be, maybe next year. I think that there were a couple of groups that did play on Sunday but there was nothing official.
The Club Championships were finalised on the 4th of June and Max Bonnor is our Club and A Grade Champion for 2017 with a fine 107 Gross, runners-up in A Grade was Dave Morgan with 113 and Paul Sutton 114. B Grade was won by Pat Hagan 128 Who defeat Charles Doggett 128 on the 1st playoff hole, next was Keith Ellem with 131. C Grade was won by Joe Leonard with 136 with Runners-up Gary Reynolds and Wal Hambly both on 138. Good Golf everyone and congratulations to all our Champions, I am looking forward to next year already.
Please note that with the Jacaranda Coaches Match Championships starting next Sunday Time slots 7.33 am through to 8.08am have been reserved for these matches.
Next Sunday is a Single Stableford event in conjunction with the Jacaranda Coaches Match Championships. Starters will be G Jackson and D Clark with Results TBA.
Sunday June 25th will be a Single Stableford event in conjunction with the 2nd round of the Match Championships. Starters will be P Taaffe and G Duffy with J Ellis and D Tasker to handle the results.
