Grafton Clay Target Club
Sunday March 13 started with some downpours, which intermittently visited us throughout the day. This did not dampen the spirits of our 34 shooters coming from near and far, who contested the Club 50T Double Barrel Championship with great enthusiasm. The afternoon saw the rain easing considerably to bring some sun shine and cloud here and there.
At the end of the 50 targets championship, best scores were 2 on 49/50, Kim Nealon and Mike Sullivan. After a short battle, Kim Nealon came out on top. The day’s High Gun went to Stephan Saul from Kempsey. Great shooting in every event saw Steve pick up the High Gun trophy and a voucher to shoot at our next club day with free nominations.
