With many of the Club’s regular players absent this week, competition was tight. Thursday 26th May Heather Roland and Dennis Ford had a resounding win, with Heather Brown and Kerry Harding in second place. Delma Frawley and Pam Dougherty came third. Friday 27th May In a small field of five partnerships Fred Sherriff and Dennis Ford came equal first with Joan Stephenson and Pam Dougherty. Neil Nagle and Bob Northam were third. South Grafton Bridge Club Tuesday 24th May Almost all members were present this week; a six-table Howell game saw Matt Staehelin and Pat McLennan in first place ahead of Bev Kojac and Ian Huxley. Neil Nagle and Fred Sherriff came third.
