Grafton Breast Cancer Support

The Group meets on the first Friday of every month at the South Grafton District Ex-Servicemen’s Club, 2 Wharf Street South Grafton at 10am; our fist meeting will be on Friday February 7.This group is a social group as well as a fundraising group. We welcome all people diagnosed with breast cancer and their families and friends.

Just come for a chat, if you have concerns or questions or ideas for fun, fundraising activities.
Our Clarence Valley community has helped us raise funds to cover the cost to help many people diagnosed with breast cancer over 16 years. We have bought lymphodoema sleeves and wigs, paid for scans and petrol and well-being vouchers over the years. We also offer funding for home support such as mowing and house cleaning.

Our members work really hard, look after others and have a good time together. The South Grafton District Servicemen’s Club, the secretary manager, Debbie Welsh and all of the staff and board enable us to hold our monthly meetings and provide for storage needs. We are very thankful for their ongoing support.

Funds are available. If you need any help, please contact us. Funds can also be accessed through the Grafton Base Hospital oncology department through our McGrath Breast Care nurse, Cathy Brophy.
