Go with the flow

To all the men who have noticed changes to their toileting habit for passing urine or that their FLOW stream has changed, or you have problems emptying the bladder, it is a sign that you need to see a doctor and get a thorough check-up.

If you have to get up regularly more than once a night, this also means something is not quite right so see your local doctor and don’t feel embarrassed to talk about it.

The doctor will be able to let you know if the changes are caused by stress, urge reflex, overflow, disease, or functional factors and if diagnosed and treated early, will save you from other long-term problems. Make sure you ask your doctor for a PSA blood test if you have changes to your FLOW.

Partners of men who notice that their man is going to the toilet frequently, (especially at night), try and encourage them to see their doctor for your peace of mind.
