With a better than usual turn out on Tuesday April 21, we had a popular winner … lucky Geoff Ryan (in his own words, “more arse than class”). He drew the King of Clubs and won the golf lesson with Maclean Golf Club pro Paul King.

First place in the Stableford event with a good score of 21 points, was Bruce Johnston. He also made nearest the pin on the 2nd hole and took home the Caperberry Cafe $20 voucher and a lovely maroon coloured wine cooler to take his drinks with him. Hope it does not cause problems at State of Origin time.

Second place was Lyn Eke with a great 19-point haul, she won the bottle of wine or Tartan Pizza meal and drink and can pick one or the other up next Tuesday at the Club.

John Hopkins was third, winning either the Yamba Cinema pass or Sassafras meal voucher… his choice.

John Grant was nearest the pin on the 7th and scored three golf balls for his trouble.
