Generous Donation Helps Marine Rescue Volunteers to Keep Helping Others

The Marine Rescue Iluka Yamba unit has benefitted from the recent donation of an inverter generator from local business, Yamba Mitre 10.

The generator was presented to members of the Marine Rescue Iluka Yamba unit by Yamba Mitre 10 owner Matt White and Store Manager Andrew Bosward.

Marine Rescue Iluka Yamba Acting Unit Commander Ken Brandli said that the generator would provide a welcome boost to the unit’s operations.

“Our members work tirelessly on raising vital funds to ensure we are able to keep our rescue boat on the water,” Mr Richards said.

“This generator will enable us to continue to participate in community markets to both raise awareness of boating safety with the local boating community as well as raise much needed funds for our operations.”

“Marine Rescue Iluka Yamba are grateful for the support of Yamba Mitre 10 in helping us to keep local boaters safer.”
