Toovey and C. Newsome. Thursday 6th August President Dawn wished those celebrating a birthday this month happy birthday and hope you all enjoy your day. Today we played the final of the Championship Fours and congratulations goes to the team of J. Pugh, L. Robertson, A. Williams and B. Murray who defeated J. McWaters, M. Buckley, A. Bowling [sub M. Firth] and L. Demmery , a very close game with many great shots played, well done to both teams. Social play saw J. McDonald, M. Elliott and J. Weatherstone [winners] d C. Morrison, M. Toovey and J. Cooper [lucky losers]. Jackpot number which is played for each Thursday was 19 and not won so will increase for next week. Competition winners were M. Firth, J. Weatherstone, M. Buckley and B. Murray. Jacaranda flyers will be out shortly and we are running our Super Competition again this year, if you would like to donate any grocery items towards our hamper it would be greatly appreciated. Consistency Singles starts on Tuesday 11th and the second round will be played Thursday 13th. Please check the board to see when you are set down to play I would like to wish our Number 3 Pennant side good bowling when they go to Berry on Saturday to contest the State Title, lets hope we can bring the flag home with us.
