Fisherman washed off rocks

WHAT WE KNOW:

Just before 2:30 yesterday afternoon, the Westpac Rescue was tasked by Ambulance New South Wales to Red Rock to reports of a male rock fisherman washed rocks whilst fishing. 

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter along with Water Police,  Surf Lifesaving and Marine Rescue conducted a surface and air search for the male of the Red Rock and offshore waters with male unable to be located. 

Search has been suspended for the evening and will recommence tomorrow morning under the direction of New South Wales Police. 

 

UPDATE:

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter has been tasked by Ambulance New South Wales after being request by New South Wales Police, Marine Area Command to assist in a search for a missing male swept from rocks whilst fishing at Red Rock late yesterday afternoon. 

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter will join Water Police, Surf Lifesaving and Marine Rescue vessel to search water offshore from Red Rock.

UPDATE:

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter has been re tasked at 8:30am this morning at the request of New South Wales Police, Marine Area Command to resume the search for a missing male swept from rocks whilst fishing at Red Rock late yesterday afternoon. The Helicopter will join Water Police, Surf Lifesaving and Marine Rescue vessel to search water offshore from Red Rock.
