Fiona Smart takes Yamba Matchplay Knockout

The final of the 2022 Matchplay Knockout between Jennifer Fagan and Fiona Smart was played last Wednesday.

Requiring play to go through onto the front nine after 18 holes, Fiona was the eventual winner on the 19th hole. Congratulations to both ladies but special acknowledgement must go to Fiona who clawed her way back after being behind after the first nine. Formal presentation of the Nikki Irwin Memorial Shield will be made to Fiona on Presentation Day.
