‘Finish Lines Not Finish Times’

This is a Triathlon NSW incentive to introduce Triathlon to Women.

We are getting close to holding the FREE event on Sunday February 16, at the Yamba Community Pool, and we have free coaching sessions for any female above the age of 13+ who wishes to try Triathlon.

There are many women who would like to do a triathlon but don’t know where to start. We guide you through that process; what you need, bike and helmet checks, free training sessions for running, transition practice and group rides.

The distance for the triathlon is a 300m swim in the Yamba heated pool, 10km bike ride (5 laps of the industrial estate), and a 2km run course.  All our club members will be helping women on the day to cross that finish line! Registration and Transition set-up is 7.30am and the event starts at 8am.

Free women’s triathlon training sessions in preparation for Finish Lines Not Finish Times event are on February 16.

She’s an Inspiration!

Meet Anastasia, a proud mum of a 4-month-old baby who is joining in on our free triathlon training sessions.

“I want to do this event to better myself and thought that this would be an awesome way to get back into sport since having a baby but also to get out of the house and meet new people.

I have done a couple of Enticer/Tempta triathlons before which is the same distance as this event.

The training sessions for me are to get support and learn proper techniques.

My main goal in this event is exactly what it’s called it’s to cross the finish line.”
