Feral ducks on Chatsworth Island

Dear Ed,

I live in the beautiful river side village of Chatsworth, at least it was a beautiful place until the duck invasion.

The ducks were dumped on the river bank iapproximately 2 years ago. They sh-t everywhere, even the picnic tables are covered. I have asked council to remove them but they have refused and the ducks keep multiplying.

This is a health hazard and a danger to older people like me who have to walk through the sh-t and are at risk of a slip or fall. I use a walker, I am 90 years of age and currently live independently. I don’t want to have a fall and end up seriously injured.

I am not the only elderly resident on this island: we need help.
