Family History Month webinars coming up

If you are interested in learning more about your family history, the Grafton library is hosting a series of webinars that might help. The NSW State Archives and Records has a program of free webinars that focus on the resources of the State archives collection and how to access. The webinars will be available at the Grafton library from 1-2pm on:
  • Wednesday, August 15 – “Using the NSW State Archives website”
  • Wednesday, August 22 – “Tracing NSW Convicts”
  • Wednesday, August 29 – “NSW Shipping and Immigration records.”
National Family History month is held in Australia in August each year. The Clarence Regional Library has a range of genealogy resources to help people with their family history research all year round. This includes such as access to www.ancestery.com, www.findmypast.com the NSW State Archives Resource Kit and a local studies collection in each library.
