Lynne Mowbray Last month we ran a story about Dr Eric Davey from Clarence Medical Centre who decided to shave his beard to raise money to assist nine-year-old Sasha Berry, who was recovering from a brain tumour. Last Wednesday (January 3) the shave took place with Maclean hairdresser Nicole Moloney of New Horizons, assisting with the removal of the good doctor’s beard. Clarence Medical Centre practice manager Angela Bliss said that a total of $825 was raised, with over $500 of that being raised by donations from the public specifically voting for the total removal of Dr Davey’s beard.
