Double take at Maclean Bravehearts

The Tuesday September 21 game at Maclean GC, an Ambrose event, was time for players to work together, doubling up on best shots which created all sorts of opportunities for some couples.

Our newer players had to wrap their heads around the concept, so we tried to partner them with more experienced golfers. However, that planning was just a band-aid and to no avail for the pairs that stayed with regular partners. They had fun but were no match for our winners who torched the course with red hot scores. We made it a Stroke Ambrose event and wow, what a surprise it was to see how well some teams performed.
