Do you want to be a Scout?

Maclean Scout Group is commencing activities for 2021 on Monday February 8, and there are vacancies in all three sections, Cubs, Joeys & Scouts. Joey section is for boys & girls aged between 5 – 8 years, focusing on fun and friendship through games, stories and activities, learning to share with other children and to help people. The Cub section is the next age group, for boys and girls between 8 -11 years, exploring the outdoors, learning life skills such as leadership and taking responsibility for themselves and how to give back totheir comminities. Then follows the Scout section, for boys and girls 11 – 14 years old, focusing on developing self-confidence and essential outdoors safety skills, camping, bush walking and boating to name just a few. Our Joeys meet on Tuesdays from 4.30 – 5.30pm, Cubs on Mondays from 5.30 – 7pm, and Scouts on Wednesdays from 5 – 7.30pm. All three sections meet at the Maclean Scout Hall in Union Street.
