More than 100 students from across the Clarence Valley and Northern NSW participated in the 2023 Grafton Eisteddfod, held at The Hall, South Grafton High School, between April 8-14.
Demonstrating their perfectly executed skills and precision across a number of classes in various age categories including classical ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, tap, national character, and hip hop, several students took to the stage on multiple occasions during the week-long event, some dancing as many as six dances throughout the program.
2023 Grafton Eisteddfod Secretary Nicole Secomb said organisers were “definitely happy” with the number of participants this year and said everyone enjoyed themselves during the event.
“We received a lot of positive feedback from the students, along with members of the audience, which was great,” she said.
“It was a very successful event.”
