A man aged in his 60s was transported to hospital after he was hit by a car at Yamba last Friday, February 21.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Shores Drive and Yamba Road about 7.30am.
A NSW Ambulance spokesperson said when paramedics arrived at the scene, they found a cyclist suffering hip and shoulder injuries.
A NSW Police spokesperson said NSW Ambulance paramedics rendered assistance to the rider, a man aged 65.
The driver of the car, a woman aged 54, was not injured.
The cyclist was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to Lismore Base Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District have commenced inquiries into the incident.
