CWA Maclean ‘Sconversation’

We had lots of interesting conversations at our last ‘Sconversation’ morning with a range of people dropping in to have a cuppa and a chat.

The next one will be on Wednesday September 1, but there is a program of activities for every Wednesday morning so do drop in.

Don’t forget the new monthly handicraft morning will start Wednesday July 21 from 10am to 12 noon. We will have crafts, such as knitting, crocheting, embroidery, patchwork and someone who will demonstrate and assist others to learn these skills. Some craft materials will be available for a small cost. Please email or ring to let us know you are coming as we may have to restrict numbers due to new COVID rules.

On Wednesday July 28 at 10am we will welcome Barbara Linley to talk about environmental issues, such as preservation of our coastal emus and koala habitat. Morning tea will be served for a small donation.

Coming up in August will be our 90th Birthday morning tea and in September the Spring Fair and Scarecrow competition on Saturday September 11.

If you are interested in finding out more about Maclean CWA or you would like to book in for any activities, you can contact our secretary, Susan Howland on 0419 960 370 or cwamaclean@gmail.com or drop by on any Wednesday morning.
