Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our 90th birthday celebration until later in the year, but we are still continuing our regular Wednesday Friendship mornings, which we can hold according to the current Covid rules.
Last Wednesday our craft group tried out some simple macrame with Tina and had lots of laughs over a cuppa. Next month we plan to play around with air drying, no-fire clay on Wednesday August 18. Everyone is welcome to come along and try it out. There will be a small cost for materials.
Our next Branch meeting is on Wednesday August 11 when we will be learning more about Malayasia, which is our country of study until next April. We will also decide whether we can go ahead with our Spring Fair which we have planned for Saturday September 11.
Our next ‘Sconversation’ will not be until Wednesday September 1 when there will be scones, jam and cream and bottomless cups of tea or coffee for $5 and of course plenty of conversation.
