CV Woodworkers help Westpac Helicopter

The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service would like to acknowledge the continued support given by the 75 members of the Clarence Valley Woodworkers Association Inc recently.

At the groups end of year luncheon held in South Grafton, members (pictured L-R) Bob Montgomery, John Hall and George Castrissios were proud to donate $500 to help the Service to save lives throughout the Clarence Valley.

Rescue Helicopter spokesperson, Zeke Huish who accepted the donation on behalf of the Service commented “When I asked the group how long they had been together, you could hear the passion in George’s voice when he said ‘over 50 years’”.

“We would like to thank everyone at the Club who helped to run their raffle this year and those who purchased tickets to support the group and the Rescue Helicopter!” said Mr Huish.
