Minister for Finance and Services Dominic Perrottet last week officially opened the Service NSW one-stop-shop in Grafton. Minister Perrottet congratulated the shop’s team on serving more than 25,000 customers since its opening in February 2015 while maintaining a customer satisfaction rating of 99 per cent, a media release from Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis says. “The team here in Grafton should be proud of what is a truly impressive achievement in [less than] six months,” Minister Perrottet said. “This government is determined to make transacting with government as convenient as possible; and to complement our ServiceNSW one-stop shops we are also putting even more transactions online.” At the centre, customers have access to more than 800 NSW government transactions under one roof, including driver licences, vehicle registrations, Seniors Card applications, owner builder permits and more. Mr Gulaptis said: “The Centre’s manager is Peggy Baynham, who originally hails from the Northern Rivers region. “She and the Service NSW team have had a fantastic first six months, and I know they will continue to provide excellent service to the residents and businesses of Grafton and the wider region.” Grafton’s Service NSW Centre is located at 3 King Street Grafton (the former motor registry site) and is open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and from 8.30am to 12pm on Saturdays.
