CRDWBA ladies salute their best

Around 100 ladies from across the Clarence District gathered at Red Rock-Corindi Bowling Club recently to enjoy each other’s company, and to celebrate the achievements of the winners of the District Championships and Pennant competition for 2021.

District President Denise McLachlan welcomed all, and in particular special guests, CRDWBA Patron, Shirley Drum, and Red Rock-Corindi Patron, Pat Kindred.

After a fabulous morning tea, out on the greens, it was fun but competitive bowls in teams comprising players from the various clubs. Such team compositions are always enjoyable as rare opportunities to play as team-mates with others who are usually compete against each other.

Then it was indoors to enjoy the delicious lunch provided. The wonderful hospitality of the merry band of Red Rock-Corindi ladies, led by President Andrea Rudd, and the friendly atmosphere of this club were appreciated by everyone.

Rink draws, raffles and money board prizes were then distributed, thanks to the generous donations from various clubs, members, and the District.
