Crazy location

Ed,

I strongly agree with the heading you have used in this article titled “Southgate residents oppose the location of the solar proposal” (CVI 30/9/21).

It is just crazy to think that there is not a far more appropriate location in NSW let alone Australia. Why on earth would the residents of the Valley want to jeopardise an internationally recognised bird sanctuary in a state forest adjoining the proposal. This is not a “plant”, it is an outright factory that needs to be put somewhere else, certainly not in the Clarence Valley.

The Valley is our second home, my family has lived there for some 48 years, in particular Grafton & Maclean and now Brushgrove for the last 10 years.
