Now that he’s cleaned up most of the local bowlers over the autumn and winter period Graham Meany has come out of hibernation and returned to terrorise, we golfers for the next 6 months. He didn’t quite make the top of the podium on his first outing but did run a close second to Ken Lillie and took home one of the NTPs. Welcome back Graham!
It was a great day on the course with everyone back to summer gear and the scores indicated that our group was back in the swing. All but two were within one stroke of their handicap or better – well done guys.
Ken Lillie won the day with 21 points from Graham Meany and Steve Dorrell both on 20. Keith Britton won the NTP on the 10th, Graham Meany the 12th and Kevin Moran the 17th.
We always welcome players of any standard and with spring in the air, why don’t you come and join us for a relaxed 9 holes on a Tuesday morning. Simply be at the course ready for a 7.30am tee off.
