Happy New Year from the team at Connect You Too (Connectu2) who has been busy helping the community get out and about during December 2021.

In December 2021, we carried a total of 1,076 trips with a total of 52,825 service kms. Our popular destinations included 31 trips to Ballina; 84 trips to Coffs Harbour; 2 trips to the Gold Coast; 382 trips to Grafton; 123 trips to Lismore and 168 trips to the Yamba/Maclean area.

We managed to get the community to 240 Specialist appointments; 123 Hospital visits (Day Surgery drop off/pick-up); 109 GP appointments; 16 Dentist appointments & 508 shopping trips.

Our Airport Shuttle service has been busy with its pre-paid service on Monday’s, Friday’s, and Saturday’s. Other days are available. For bookings – email bookings@connectu2.org.au

Our Meals on Wheels service based in Iluka delivered 517 meals and 195 desserts during December 2021. We were able to do welfare checks, have a quick chat and help our customers see a friendly face (even with our masks on).
