Funding for eligible community projects is now available through the Clarence Valley Council’s Community Initiatives Program. The program supports not-for-profit organisations to produce new or continuing projects and initiatives for the benefit of the Clarence Valley community. Round 2 for 2021 is open to non-profit organisations or groups/individuals and closes October 31.
Projects or initiatives must occur between mid-December 2021 and 30 June 2022. Applications are only accepted online via the SmartyGrants link at www.clarence.nsw.gov.au/smartygrants
There are four categories:
• Cash – to go towards the costs of small projects/initiatives
• Rates waiver – to cover the cost of general council rates
• Fee waiver – to waive the fees of hiring council venues
• Educational institutions – $100 for awards nights only.
