Community hopeful festival will bloom again in 2021

As the jacaranda trees lose their leaves in preparation to bloom colourfully once again, the Grafton Jacaranda Festival committee and management continue to monitor the current Covid-19 situation developing across NSW.

Following the sad and unfortunate cancellation of the 2020 Jacaranda Festival, the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has recently prevented several local events from going ahead this year.

But community spirit remains strong, with several Grafton residents recently expressing their impatience and eagerness to see the beloved floral festival make a comeback in 2021.

A spokesperson for the Jacaranda Festival committee said a decision regarding the 2021 Jacaranda Festival will be made over the next four weeks.

The Clarence Valley Independent will continue to provide updates as soon as they become available.
