A gathering of about 26 members attended the Lawrence Historical Society AGM for 2019. It was a convivial evening and all enjoyed a supper of delicious soups and sweets, prior to the meeting.

Christine Reeves kindly took the position of returning officer. The elected committee for 2019/2020 comprises: president – Rob Forbes; vice president – Roz Jones; treasurer – Prue Harrington; secretary – Julia Durance; committee members – Eulie Allen, Sue Bert and Peter Jones.

Continuing as president Rob Forbes especially thanked all the volunteers and supporters who together contributed to the success of the projects this year and ongoing operation of the museum.
