In the Stableford event on the first nine on April 14 in his first outing with the Braves, Phil Meeks (off a handicap of 19), played a superlative round, coming home with 20 points and knocking off both nearest the pins.

Well done Phil and welcome to Bravehearts. He was as happy as all Journos would be, with his bottle of Sav Blanc award.

Second place-getter John Hopkins was awarded the Sweet-n-Spicy restaurant voucher and hopes to use it before years end!

Third equal were Gary Taylor and Marilyn Hopkins taking a party pack and Caperberry Cafe $20 meal voucher… another to pop away till the current health crisis is over.
