A few points for clarification on your market story (CVI 2/4/25). First and foremost, I have always separated my role as an elected Councillor and a businesswoman. So it is actually Debrah Novak the sole trader who operates the Yamba Farmers & Producers Market (not Councillor Novak) with a license through a Council tender process. When the Maclean Market matter comes before Council and is voted on, I will be excused of the room when it is discussed because I have a pecuniary conflict of interest. It is a straightforward DA process. I am at a loss to understand what relevance there was to bring me into this story.
