What a great way to celebrate spring, a Twilight Time Cruise along the might Clarence on September 26. There will be light entertainment with ‘Full Circle’ and hot and cold canapés.Cost: members $25, guests $35. Payment by September 19. Drinks will be available for purchase on board. Further ahead in October ALBoC is booking for Muriel’s Wedding the Musical at QPAC on Saturday 5th. Cost will be $210 and includes ticket, transport, delicious morning tea and lucky seat prizes. Tickets are still available, again contact Patricia via tocru3a@gmail.com

During August the ‘Camping’ group had a wonderful few days recently hanging out at Hanging Rock alongside the Mann River with delightful sunny days, full moonlit nights around a lovely campfire and walks along the river east and west. Sound fun, well, the next camp out will be up towards the Armidale road near Ebor alongside the Styx River on October 16 for a few days. Contact Col via tocru3a@gmail.com

If the great outdoors does not entice then the Chess group which is suitable for beginners as well as experienced players maybe the answer. Venue is The Roundhouse, Palm Lake Resort on Thursday mornings 9-12. This is an opportunity to learn and enjoy playing the game of chess.
