Clarence River Arts & Crafts rebrand their Festival
Following on from its highly successful and popular 2015 Golden Jubilee Competitive Arts Crafts & Quilts Exhibition, the Lower Clarence Arts & Crafts Association has rebranded the event with a view to creating a wider ‘Clarence River Arts Festival’ This will be held at the Maclean Showground over the weekend of July 8-10 with the opening night on Thursday, July 7.
We plan for it to go off with a bang. This is the first year of something bigger for the Clarence. As well the exhibition with the usual sections of, Fine Art, Sculpture, Junior Art, Photography, Jewellery, Wearable Art, Patchwork & Quilting and Creative needlework. A carnival atmosphere is planned with busking, face painting, jumping castle, craft market, demonstrations, food and beverage outlets and much more on the Friday and Saturday, with Sunday being a more sedate way to view the exhibition.
