The Harwood Hotel is hosting a ‘Christmas Toy Drive’ in the lead up to Christmas and they are inviting the community to get on board and spread the festive spirit, by donating new or used toys.

Organisers of the event said that all donations will be collected at the Harwood Hotel and then delivered to St Vincent de Paul in Maclean, to help brighten Christmas for families in need, within our community.

Manager of the Harwood Hotel, Laura, said that anyone wishing to donate toys could drop them into the bar area of the hotel.

 “Our friendly staff will take them and organise to have them all dropped off at St Vincent de Paul, during the week of Christmas,” said Laura.

Organisers believe that this toy drive is a wonderful opportunity to bring people together for a good cause, during the holiday season.
