Sandy Paws Vet at Iluka is holding a Christmas Dog Parade on Saturday December 9, to raise ‘doggy’ adoption awareness, with proceeds from the day going to the Animal Rights and Rescue Group from Lismore (who will be taking part in the days event).
The event will kick off at 8am with a $10 per dog entry and registration, at the Saandy Paws Vet Clinic at 6/42-44 Charles Street, Iluka, followed by a Christmas dress up parade, to nearby Anzac Park.
Refreshments will be provided at the park by IGA Iluka and there will be a few doggy games (musical mats and best behaved dog competition) with prizes being awarded.
Prizes will also be awarded to the best dressed.
A photographer will be available to take family photos with the river as a backdrop.
A town wide scavenger hunt will also be held with riddles and prizes awarded.
So dress up your doggie and put on your Christmas glad rags and head to Iluka for a fun filled morning.
