Last month we enjoyed the interaction with some of the students from the Chatsworth Island PS at our International Day. Students were well informed on the country of study. Papua New Guinea. Credit goes to the teacher as all students participated and enjoyed the afternoon.

Chatsworth Island Branch will have their AGM October 2 at Chatsworth Island Hall at 10am. The meeting will be chaired by group secretary Leonie Saunders. Office bearers are asked to have their reports done prior to the meeting and nominations for positions on the day. This will be followed by the general meeting then a shared lunch. If you are interested in joining our branch come along on the day.

Afternoon craft is making a bag out of old jeans. These make good presents for young people. Start your Christmas gifts. On the day you will need a pair of old jeans material to line the bag as well as general sewing items; scissors pins and a sewing machine if possible. These afternoons are fun and a good way to meet new people and open to all.
