Chatsworth Island CWA

The next meeting of Chatsworth Island CWA will be held in the Chatsworth Island Hall, on Wednesday April 6, commencing at 10am.

Craft will then commence after lunch at 1pm. For craft this month, we will be assembling a poppy wreath for Anzac Day. Members have been working on making poppies since last meeting. All ladies are invited to join us for a cuppa and a chat, bring your own craft, and will be made most welcome.

During the month two members attended the CWA North Coast Group handicraft and cookery day held at Glenreagh. At this function branches craft and cookery are judged, and winning entries selected to go to CWA State Conference.

Chatsworth Island CWA was placed overall third in the handicraft pointscore. Also, two of our member’s craft items were selected to go to Sydney for judging in the state competition,
