Changed Traffic Conditions

Pacific Highway between Mororo and Devils Pulpit

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from this week on the Pacific Highway between Mororo and Devils Pulpit.

From Wednesday 29 April, motorists will be permanently moved onto about five kilometres of dual carriageway, one lane in each direction, between Mororo and Devils Pulpit.

There will be up to two nights of work to complete this traffic change. Motorists can expect traffic control, lane closures, reduced speed limits and short stoppages at times between 6pm and 6am while the work is carried out.

As part of this change, a new southbound rest area at Mororo will open in stages and southbound access to the Bundjalung rest area will close. This means the existing Bundjalung rest area will be accessible to northbound motorists only.

Temporary facilities including toilets at the new Mororo rest area will be available while work is carried out on the permanent facilities.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
