Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions next week at two Lismore roundabouts for overnight maintenance work to be carried out.

To minimise impacts to motorists, work on the roundabout at the intersection of Uralba Street and the Lismore-Bangalow Road (Dawson Street) will be carried out between 7pm and 11pm on Monday 15 June.

Work on the roundabout at the intersection of the Bruxner Highway and Wyrallah Road will be carried out between 11pm Monday 15 June and 6am Tuesday 16 June, weather permitting.

A detour for the Bruxner Highway is available for light vehicles via Dawson, Magellan and Brewster streets for those travelling east and via Brewster, Magellan and Dawson streets for those travelling west. No detour is available for B doubles while work is being carried out and drivers are advised to plan their trips accordingly.

The work will provide safer and longer-lasting roundabouts.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
