Roads and Maritime Services advises motorists changed traffic conditions will be in place on the Pacific Highway at Harwood to allow work to be carried out on the approaches to the Harwood Bridge on the Pacific Highway effective from Monday of this week (March 21), weather permitting. The work involves removing part of the existing road pavement and replacing it with an asphalt layer. The work will be carried out over three nights to Thursday March 24 from 5pm until 6am each night, weather permitting. Single lane alternate flow traffic arrangements will be in place on the Pacific Highway, with traffic management and reduced speed limits in place where needed to ensure the safety of workers, motorists and other road users. Motorists may experience delays of up to 10 minutes and are advised to plan extra travel time for their journeys.
