Changed traffic conditions on the Pacific Highway at Coffs Harbour

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from this weekend on the Pacific Highway for road surface repairs to be carried out between Coffs Harbour and Korora.

Work will take place on an eight-kilometre section of road to spray seal the surface.

Work will be carried out over five nights from Sunday 22 November to Friday 4 December between 7.30pm and 5am, weather permitting.

There will be no right turn onto the highway from James Small Drive on Sunday and Monday nights. A detour will be in place for motorists wishing to travel northbound via Old Coast Road.

There will no right turn movements into or out of Opal Boulevard on Sunday and Monday nights. Motorists wishing to travel north from Opal Boulevard will need to use the detour via Old Coast Road.

Motorists wishing to turn right into Opal Boulevard from the south will need to travel a further 2.5 kilometres north and turnaround at Sapphire Beach interchange.

Motorists wishing to turn right into Solitary Islands Way will need to travel a further two kilometres north and turnaround at Sapphire Beach interchange.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.

Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks road users for their patience during this time.
