Changed traffic conditions on the Big River Way at Coldstream River Bridge

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Big River Way this week for inspection and load testing work on Coldstream River Bridge south of Tyndale.

The site will be set up on Wednesday 16 September with load testing work to be carried out from 7am to 5pm on Thursday 17 September and also Friday 18 September if required, weather permitting.

Traffic on the bridge will be reduced to one lane with alternate flow while preparation for load testing is being carried out.

The bridge will also need to close for short periods on Thursday and Friday for load testing activities. Motorists may experience delays of up to 10 minutes.

Delays of this duration will be kept to a minimum and every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience. Emergency vehicles will not be impacted by the closures.

Traffic control and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the safety of road users and workers.

Motorists are advised to expect delays, drive to the conditions, and follow the direction of signs and traffic control.

Transport for NSW thanks the community for their patience during this time.
