Changed traffic conditions on Bluff Point Ferry at Lawrence

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions on Bluff Point Ferry at Lawrence next week for essential maintenance to be carried out.

Work to repair the ramp of the main 24-car ferry will be carried out from 9.30am on Monday 30 September and is expected to take four days to complete. The second 18-car ferry will be in operation while the main ferry is undergoing repairs.

This means the second ferry service will not be available during the morning and afternoon peak traffic periods for four days, starting from the afternoon peak on Monday 30 September. The second ferry service will resume on Friday 4 October at 7.30am, weather permitting.

Although there will be no planned interruption to service during this time, it will mean no back up ferry is in place and some delays may be experienced during busier times.

Transport for NSW encourages ferry users to plan their journey and consider using alternative routes during this time.

Ferry users can also access the latest traffic information by calling 132 701, visiting livetraffic.com or by downloading the Live Traffic NSW app.
