Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions and night work on the Pacific Highway from Monday 6 to Sunday 12 April for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade, weather permitting.
From Monday, there will be four days of work on the Pacific Highway at Broadwater to carry out asphalting and line marking. Motorists can expect lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40km/h and short stoppages at times between 7am and 5pm.
Also from Monday, there will be four days of work on the Pacific Highway between Tabbimoble and Woodburn to carry out earthwork, paving and install traffic safety barriers. Motorists can expect traffic control, reduced speed limits and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.
Electrical installation work will be carried at Tyndale for four days, from Monday. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and intermittent stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.
Further south from Monday, there will be three days of work on the Pacific Highway at Glenugie to install permanent road signage. Traffic control will also be in place to allow heavy vehicle to access site. Motorists should expect lane closures, reduced speed limits and short stoppages at times.
On Monday, there will be one night of work on the Pacific Highway at Woodburn to prepare for an upcoming traffic change. Traffic on the Pacific Highway will be temporarily moved onto about six kilometres of the future northbound carriageway, one lane in each direction, weather permitting. Motorists can expect traffic control between 6pm and 6am.
Additional changes to local roads
Traffic control will be in place on Jubilee Street, Townsend and Cameron Street, Maclean for up to five days from Monday to allow access to site and install signage and traffic safety barriers. Motorists can expect lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40km/h and short stoppages at times.
From Monday there will be four days of work on Sommervale Road, Byrons and Benson lanes at Tyndale and Shark Creek Road at Gulmarrad to carry out maintenance, earthwork and install signage. Motorists should expect lane closures, a reduced speed limit of 40km/h and short stoppages at times.
Also from Monday, there will be four days of work on Whites Road, Redgate Road and Tuckombil Road at Woodburn to carry out earthwork, paving and install signage. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and intermittent stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.
Traffic control will be in place at the Yamba interchange for four days from Monday to remove pavement. Motorists can expect short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.
The old Mororo Bridge is temporarily closed while drainage is installed.
