Changed traffic conditions and night work for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions and night work on the Pacific Highway and local roads from Monday 12 to Sunday 18 July for the Woolgoolga to Ballina upgrade, weather permitting.

From Monday, there will be five days of work on the Pacific Highway between Pimlico and Broadwater to carry out pavement maintenance, landscape maintenance and survey monitoring. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.

Further south from Monday, there will be up to seven days and nights of work on the Pacific Highway between the Tyndale north and Tyndale south interchanges to carry out maintenance. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and short stoppages at times. 

Also from Monday, there will be up to five days of work on the Pacific Highway between Tyndale and Glenugie to transport materials and carry out inspections, maintenance, and private access work. Motorists can expect lane closures, traffic control and a reduced speed limit at times between 6am and 6pm.

On Tuesday, there will be one day of work on the Pacific Highway near Tuckombil Canal at Woodburn to carry out inspections. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.

Also from Tuesday, there will be four days of work next to the Pacific Highway at the Maclean interchange to carry out vegetation maintenance. Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures and traffic control at times between 7am and 6pm.

Additional changes to local roads

From Monday, there will be up to five days of work on Woodburn Evans Head Road at Woodburn and the former Pacific Highway near the Woodburn interchange to carry out survey monitoring and private access work. Motorists can expect lane and shoulder closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.

Also from Monday, there will be up to three days of work on the roundabouts at the Woodburn interchange to install street lighting. Motorists can expect traffic control and short stoppages at times between 6am and 6pm.

Further south from Monday, there will be up to two days of work on Swan Bay New Italy, Redgate and Marozin roads at New Italy to carry out private access and finishing work. Motorists can expect lane closures and traffic control at times between 6am and 6pm.
